Carolyn is one of my 2019 brides, set to be married at the SPRINGS Pinehaven Event Venue in Magnolia, Texas on Saturday, April 6th. As a New Mexico wedding photographer, I loved the chance to photograph a wedding somewhere a little bit more woodsy. We got together with a close friend, her aunt, and her cousin – Mary Claire, on a beautiful evening to celebrate her beauty.
Carolyn chose a gorgeous lace fit and flare dress with the most stunning scalloped neckline and low back. Crystals along a scalloped edge iced her veil. Intricate teardrop earrings only added to the attention called to her arrestingly blue eyes. Soft curls mimicked her softness and grace as a bride. And she navigated the Administration Building steps at Texas A&M University with grace in her white satin heels. It’s a little known secret but she was DEFINITELY wearing Birkenstocks in those green fields… we couldn’t bear the thought of grass-staining her shoes!
Carolyn is one of the most warm-hearted people I’ve had to pleasure of meeting and is genuinely excited for her marriage to Juan. Their wedding will have lots of thoughtful, sentimental touches and I cannot wait to share that on the blog.
