This Kimbell Art Museum engagement session is a little extra special to me. I met Morgan through our college job working for the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. We worked as staff photographers, which had the perk of being on the sidelines for SEC football games. That begin said, I’ve heard stories about their relationship since then and it has been so special to witness their relationship grow into an engagement and now to be their wedding photographer.
Morgan and Connor started dating pretty much as soon as they got to A&M.
They actually met on Instagram first through following the #TAMU18 hashtag and it encouraged you to follow other people so you can get to know people before coming to college. Connor sent a follower request to Morgan and the rest is history. They are both gymnasts, so she saw Connor make a post of himself doing a gymnastics trick. It was a triple full, for your reference for all you gymnasts reading this and so you understand the upcoming pun. Morgan commented, “Beauti-full… hahah ;)”. She calls herself lame and fearless for that but says Connor must have thought it was cute.
They started commenting back and forth on his post and found out they were going to the same New Student Conference, Fish Camp, and Impact! Morgan was so excited to know someone and Connor was excited that he met a cute girl. Anyway, Morgan asked for Connor’s number they texted up until they met in the parking lot at Fuego, a local taco joint. After that they were glued to each other’s side for the rest of the conference and walked all over campus until 1 a.m. each night.
The day they got back home, Connor texted Morgan and asked if she wanted to come have dinner with his whole family. She said yes and says it was the best decision ever, besides saying yes to marrying Connor. After that dinner, the dates began and the rest, well, you can see from the photos in this post.
