After a busy fall and even busier spring, I am so excited to share Morgan and Connor’s Whispering Oaks wedding with you. The fall day was filled with jewel-toned blooms and lots of sunshine and lots of happy tears from family and friends. Morgan and Connor met initially through Instagram prior to attending Texas A&M and have pretty much been inseparable since they met in-person at their New Student Conference. They were brought together by a gymnastics post of Connor’s and then he ultimately proposed at their college nationals meet. Not only are they both talented gymnasts, brilliant people, and not to mention a gorgeous couple, but Connor is an incredibly talented pianist and prosthetist and Morgan is also a talented photographer and the executive director of the Chamber of Commerce in their town – truly a power couple! I am so lucky to have met Morgan through our college job and have many fond memories working the Aggie Football sidelines with her. Even before I met Connor, I knew it was a match made in Heaven from the way she talked about him. It was truly destined to be that they would become the Tobiases.
On their wedding day, Morgan was full of deep, expressive emotions and Connor could not stop beaming. I think it was evident to everyone there how ready they were for this day to come. All four parents were bursting with pride and joy, and the collection of siblings from both sides made the day such an immense celebration for these two. As Connor and Morgan dated, they always used the hashtag #AggiesCommit in reference to their relationship, so it was only natural that be brought up during their ceremony as they made the ultimate commitment. Then, in true Aggie fashion, they had a huge group on the dance floor for the Aggie War Hymn.
Finally, I am so excited to wrap this blog post up with dedicating it to the upcoming new addition to the Tobias family! Morgan and Connor called me a couple of weeks ago to share their big news about Baby Tobias coming this November. This baby could not be getting better or more in love parents that are such incredible examples of devotion, integrity, and joy. So, here’s to the Tobiases – you are so loved and cherished by all those around you. Here’s to this year and all those to come!
